Check out the 2009-10 Pops! line-up, which features swing dancing, a holiday spectacular, Broadway showstoppers, an evening of “Barbara,” a visit from The Godfather, and a night at the Copa!

DISCOVERY
You are a Discovery Series fan! The HSO’s Discovery Series makes the wonders of orchestral music educational (and fun!) with interactive programs aimed to enrich young students’ musical education. In 2009-10, the HSO will perform three Discovery concerts- at CCSU, Middletown High School, and The Bushnell.

Laying out a picnic, hanging out with family and friends, and listening to the HSO out under the stars- you are definitely a Talcott Mountain Music Festival fan! This special outdoor summer music series at Simsbury Meadows features fun and exciting guest artists teamed up with the classic sounds of the HSO.

SUNDAY SERENADES
You are a Sunday Serenades fan! You love every facet of the Arts; the combination of the sounds HSO and the visual arts of the Wadsworth Atheneum. The 2009-10 Sunday Serenades Series features four enchanting afternoons of chamber music in the Great Morgan Hall at the Wadsworth Atheneum.

As a fan of Sunday Serenades, you also might enjoy the glorious sounds of the full orchestra in the Masterworks Series.

HSO JAZZ and STRINGS PROJECT
You are the newest member of the HSO family- the Jazz and Strings Project!  A passionate jazz aficionado, you have always been interested in exploring what the HSO has to offer, and this is your chance.  These classical/jazz fusion concerts have included the music of Charlie Parker, George Gershwin, and Stan Getz, and have featured performances by such notable jazz musicians as Kris Allen, Joel Frahm, and Shawnn Monteiro.  Tune in this season to hear tributes to your favorite jazz legends performed live in Hartford.
