Due to scheduling constraints, Hartford Symphony Orchestra concert cancellations occur only in the case of very severe weather. In the case of inclement weather, up-to-date information will be posted on the HSO web site.
These stations will also be notified of concert cancellations and postponements: WTIC-AM (1080), WDRC-AM (1360), WFCR-FM (88.5), WFSB-TV 3 and the stations of Connecticut Public Radio/WNPR (90.5FM).
If there is snow or ice on the roadways and the concert takes place as scheduled:
Subscribers who do not wish to drive can use their tickets for a future performance in the same season. By notifying HSO ticket Services prior to the scheduled concert. Please refer to the Exchanging Tickets section. Patrons may also release their seats for tax credit.
If there is a severe storm and the concert is cancelled or postponed:
HSO Ticket Services will make every attempt to contact you in the event of a cancellation or postponement.
Patrons can use their original tickets for the rescheduled performance. Ticket holders will also be permitted to exchange into another performance in the same season (subject to availability) if they cannot attend the rescheduled performance.
