Belding Theater at the Bushnell Center for Performing Arts
The Hartford Symphony Chamber Orchestra concerts provide secondary students the opportunity to connect to professional musicians and experience a live performance of symphonic music. During a pre-concert discussion, the conductor will take the students through guided listening and the program’s historical and cultural context. The performance will be followed by a Q&A and post-concert reflection.

Important Information
- Grade Level: 6-12
- Student Tickets: $7.50 each
- Adult Tickets: $7.50 each
(One complimentary chaperone ticket is provided for every twenty paid student tickets) - Performance Length: Approximately 90 minutes
The Hartford Symphony Orchestra will provide teacher curriculum and student workbooks containing information about the program, lesson plans and activities one month prior to the performance. Teachers will also be given a supporting CD.
